Ahhhh...young Midwestern girls...how I love them so.
I wouldn't fret about all the old pictures looking too posed. They were all like that back then...it was a very formal thing...getting your picture taken. Pictures were a big deal...the technology of picture-taking wasn't as readily available as it is today. Hell, I saw a girl in a bar here not too long ago actually showing a cell phone picture of her little girl's first poop in the toilet after she was sucessfully potty-trained. I can assure you that there are no pictures like that from your great great Grandmother’s sister. :)
Next time...video tape your Mom...and make her a star on You Tube...

You wrote in another post you wanted to be published someday. If you keep writing like that, you will be. Conversly, this is why chatting with you on NF is an expensive habit, lol. You're so good at storytelling there's no such thing as a quickie. ;) Luckily, you have very reasonable rates.

Btw, you're never to old to sit in the rocking chair. This is why I more often play the younger side of age-plays on NF and elsewhere rather than the older like with you.

CeCe-
In explaining- or bemoaning-the fact that you don't paint, you in fact painted a most powerful and amazing portrait of a mother's love and a 3 year old's purity.....a baby step into the existential universe , and you did that in such a beautiful yet simple way- with the right words and tone, and the cadence was perfect-I've gotta say that this post just floored me.....and something else: my mother , who was a voracious reader, would have cried had she been alive to read your post. She would have said "naka, now this girl has serious talent. She is for real"......and with her best Jewish Mother intentions, she would have then asked me....."so naka,.....why dont you invite her over for a glass of milk"...
........................I am quite proud of you.
