They were all like that back then...it was a very formal thing...getting your picture taken. Pictures were a big deal...the technology of picture-taking wasn't as readily available as it is today. Hell, I saw a girl in a bar here not too long ago actually showing a cell phone picture of her little girl's first poop in the toilet after she was sucessfully potty-trained. I can assure you that there are no pictures like that from your great great Grandmother’s sister. :) Next time...video tape your Mom...and make her a star on You Tube... She would have said "naka, now this girl has serious talent. She is for real"......and with her best Jewish Mother intentions, she would have then asked me....."so naka,.....why dont you invite her over for a glass of milk"... ........................I am quite proud of you.
